S urvivors include his mother, Madge Hill Newton of Forest City, his son, Casey Newton and wife Amy of Bostic, his brother, Roger Newton and wife Portia of Rutherfordton, his sister-in-law, Hope King-Jenkins of Forest City as well as his grandchildren, Caleb Newton, Mark, Jacob, Austin, Lillian, Bella, and Xander. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Eitel Newton in 2013. He also attended Grace Missionary Methodist Church in Caroleen. H e worked for Coca Cola Company for many years until his retirement and then he drove for Underwood & Weld Trucking Company.
